What will replace gas boilers after 2025?

There’s been some confusion over this controversial headline, and that’s because there’s no legislation that says gas boilers will be banned after 2025. The actual scenario is that new-build homes won’t be allowed to have gas boilers installed in them after 2025 – the ban doesn’t apply to properties built before then.

That being said, air source heat pumps, ground source heat pumps, and hydrogen boilers are being talked about as the natural successors of gas boilers as they’re much more environmentally friendly. Speak to our experts if you’d like to have a chat about this new generation of boilers.

What is the best boiler for gas?
