Will the government pay for insulation?

Yes, the UK government will pay for insulation in certain circumstances. Their Great British Insulation Scheme provides grants to help people insulate their homes. However, there are some eligibility criteria that you need to meet in order to qualify for a grant from the GBIS. To learn more about eligibility criteria, go to the top of this page or speak to a member of our team.

How do I qualify for a home insulation grant?

To qualify for funding from something like the Great British Insulation Scheme or LA Flex funding, you have to meet a set of criteria. These are usually related to homeowner status, the EPC rating of your home, if you are claiming certain benefits, your total household income, or your overall health.

Am I eligible for the Great British Insulation Scheme?

You might be eligible for free or subsidised insulation through the GBIS if your home meets certain criteria. Generally, your property needs to have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of D to G and fall within Council Tax bands A-D (England) or A-E (Scotland & Wales). You can also qualify for support if you are on a low income and receive specific benefits. Not sure if you qualify? Just give our team a call – we can help you figure everything out.

Will I have to pay to have an energy-efficiency measure installed?

In some cases, the GBIS can cover the entire cost of insulation installation. However, eligibility depends on your circumstances. For an accurate quote, give our team a call.
